Design the Demons Juniors Jersey
With the announcement of the Demons x Mustangs junior partnership, we are looking for how we can incorporate the Mustangs onto the juniors’ jerseys (including cover shorts and socks). So we are throwing open the creative gates and letting you design the jerseys and enter the draw to win an amazing prize!
The prize pool is made up of:
- Discounted Demons 2026 Winter season fees
- Melbourne Mustangs Gold Season Pass
- Demons and Mustangs Merch
- Your name and initial on the item you designed! (priceless)

We’re looking for your creativity on how we can represent the partnership with the Mustangs on our jerseys.
The entry forms are below with the shapes of the jersey, cover shorts and socks, so you have a good base to start from. You can print these to colour in or use them on your computer with your favourite drawing application.
All entries will be judged by a panel comprising Demons, Mustangs, and IHV executives to determine our winner(s). You don’t need to be able to draw well to win, only enough to show us your idea. If you are a winner, we will have a designer bring your idea to life!
Things to think about:
- The jersey must still look like the Demon’s IHV-approved jersey. This means it must still feature Demons Red over 80% of the jersey (as well as reference the blue and white colours), include the Demons club logo, and have clear space for the player number and name to be visible.
- We can apply the Melbourne Mustang’s colours (Orange with black and white) and/or logo to our jersey, but we need to make sure these elements don’t compete with the Demons’ colours and logo.
- You can choose to apply your creativity to one of the jerseys, cover shorts or socks – or any combination of the three.
Entries are open for people aged 20 years or younger. They must be submitted using the provided design template via the entry form below and received prior to 9 pm AEDT on 30th November 2025 to be considered as a part of the competition. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
How to enter
- Download one (or all) of the templates below that give you the shapes of the Jersey, cover shorts and socks.
- Apply your design by either printing and drawing on the design, or import it into your favourite design/drawing application.
- Save your design as an image or PDF (If you have printed off the design page and drawn on it, take a clear photo of your entry with your phone and upload that picture).
- Competition is now closed.
Make sure your name, age and parent/carer details (if under 18) are on the form in the fields provided and then save your entry as a PDF, PNG or JPG file ready to submit via email to the address above.

Demons IHC Juniors Jersey Design Competition – Terms & Conditions of Entry
1. Competition Summary & Eligibility
The “Demons IHC Juniors Jersey Design Competition” (the “Competition”) is a game of skill hosted by Demons IHC (the “Promoter”). Entry is open to all individuals 20 years of age and under residing in Victoria, Australia, who have a family member who is a playing member of the Demons IHC (including legends and life members) or the Melbourne Mustangs. By submitting an entry, the entrant’s parent, guardian, or carer (the “Parent”) confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions on behalf of the entrant.
2. Entry Requirements
a. Theme & Design: Entries must be an original design for the Demons IHC Juniors team jersey.
b. Designable items: The jersey items that can be designed are: Jersey, Cover Shorts and Socks, using the template files provided. No other items will be accepted.
c. Original Work: All entries must be the entrant’s own original work and must not infringe on the intellectual property rights, including copyright, of any other person or entity. Designs that include copyrighted characters, logos, or other material not created by the entrant will be disqualified.
d. Entry Details: Each entry must be submitted with the following information clearly stated:
* Entrant’s Full Name & Age
* Parents/Carers Full Name
* Parents/Carers Contact Details (phone number)
e. Eligible entries: must be made using the design files supplied below. Any entry that does not use the supplied files as a base will be disqualified.
3. Submission Details
a. Method of Entry: Entries must be submitted electronically as a high-quality image file (e.g., .jpg, .png, .pdf) to the specified email address on the printable page.
b. Entry Period: The competition opens on 21st September 2025 and closes at 9:00 PM AEDT on 31 October 2025. Any entries received after this time will not be considered.
c. Multiple Entries: Entrants may only submit one entry of each item type (eg. one Jersey design, one cover shorts design and one sock design). Subsequence entries received will be not included for judging.
4. Judging & Prize
a. Judging Criteria: All entries will be evaluated by a judging team based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the design requirements. Chance plays no part in determining the winner.
b. Final Decision: The judging team’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the judging process or the outcome. No correspondence, appeal, or legal challenge will be entered into regarding the judging process or the selection of the winning design.
c. The Prize: The selected winners will have their design used as the base for the new Demons IHC Juniors team jersey, cover shorts and socks. They will also receive an item from the prize pool of: discounted 2026 season Demons IHC fees, Melbourne Mustangs membership for the 2026 AIHL season home games, and Demons and Mustangs merch. The winner’s first name and initial will be added to the uniform design when it is produced for the item they entered. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. If the winner already has a Melbourne Mustangs membership, no refund will be available for the already purchased ticket, in line with the conditions of purchase of the membership.
d. The Jersey Design: The design team will take the winning entry and work out the best way to apply your design updates to the existing jerseys. This may mean that some small details may need to be adjusted in order for your design to be incorporated onto the jerseys. The entrant and their parent agree that the Promoter can make the required adjustments to the design, to be faithful to the design selected, without consultation from the competition winner or their parent/carer.
e. Winners will be announced: November 2025. The winning designs will be revealed prior to the 2026 IHV Winter Season commencing.
5. Liability, Intellectual Property & Moral Rights
a. Ownership: The entrant and their Parent acknowledge that the entrant owns the copyright in their submitted design.
b. Licence to Promoter: By entering the competition, the entrant and their Parent grant to the Promoter a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display the design, in whole or in part, for the purpose of producing the new team jersey, as well as for marketing, promotion, and publicity in connection with Demons IHC and the contest, without any other compensation to the entrant. This includes use on websites, social media, printed materials, and other promotional channels.
c. Moral Rights: The Promoter agrees to acknowledge the entrant’s moral rights, including the right of attribution. As part of the prize, the winner’s first name and initial will be permanently included on the final produced uniform item design to acknowledge their contribution as the original creator.
d. Liability: Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Melbourne Demons IHC and Melbourne Mustangs are not responsible for and exclude all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (i) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoters control); (ii) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (iv) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (v) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (vi) use of a Prize.
6. Privacy & Data Use
The Promoter collects the personal information provided for the purposes of administering the competition, judging entries, and delivering the prize. The Promoter will handle all personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. The Promoter will not sell, rent, or trade personal information to third parties. By entering, the Parent consents to the Promoter using the entrant’s name and initial on the jersey and in promotional materials should their design be selected as the winner.
7. General
a. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
b. The Promoter is not responsible for any late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries due to technical, delivery, or other communication failures.
c. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the competition at any time in its sole discretion, subject to any applicable state or federal laws.
d. The template files provided via the Demons IHC website have been scanned to ensure they do not contain virus’s or other malware. Any technical issues relating to the template files are not the fault of the Promoter.
